Dry Basement Anchor System Residential Foundation Repair
Dry Basement Anchor System
When hydrostatic pressure increases in combination with soil expansion around your foundation, basement walls will buckle and crack.
The DBAS® will permanently stop your foundation walls from moving inward. This is the best way to solve this problem with your foundation.
Strong metal supports are placed on the inside of your foundation wall and attached to a corrosion resistant steel rod. The rod is extended to the outside a minumum of 10 - 12 feet, where it is attached several feet below the ground to a steel-reinforced concrete anchor. Hydraulic rams are then used to straighten your wall (optional). This method is totally independent from the possibly weak structure of your home and assures the complete and permanent lateral support of your foundation.
